Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Store Director for our flagship Knightsbridge store. This is an exciting time to join Harvey Nichols and this role will lead our flagship store though the next stage of our evolution.

About the role…

As Store Director you will be responsible for all aspects of the store operation; to deliver sales and profit contribution targets through the consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience and operational excellence. You will:

  • Lead and inspire a best in class team. 
  • Cultivate, champion and celebrate a client centric culture across all team members.
  • Lead the clienteling strategy for the store and collaborate with Head Office to deliver engaging customer in store experiences and events.
  • Direct and motivate your teams to deliver profitable sales in line with agreed budget. 
  • Lead learning and development within the store encouraging and supporting the progression of your people. 
  • Lead by example to uphold excellent operating standards both front and heart of house. Holding managers accountable for operational excellence across the store.
  • Be present on the floor, ensuring highest standard of approach and service to Clients. 
  • Be an active and influential member of the local community to develop business opportunities, and stakeholder relationships and represent Harvey Nichols as a respected partner. 
  • Leading by example; encourage behaviours that allow all employees to have a positive experience working for Harvey Nichols that fosters their loyalty and engagement. 

Is this you?

We are looking for individuals who embrace diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and are looking for something uniquely different. 

  • Have you worked with a luxury fashion brand before in retail management?
  • Have you managed store P&L's?
  • Have you got proven experience of leading a team to deliver success?
  • Able to demonstrate delivery of key sales and KPI targets through your team?
  • Are you excellent with all things data and analysis?
