Security Officer - Knightsbridge

About the role…

As our new Security Officer, you’ll be a visible and reassuring presence across the store, helping to maintain a welcoming, safe, and secure environment for clients, colleagues, and visitors. You’ll deliver an exceptional and professional service by:

• Providing a confident, friendly, and approachable presence across the shop floor
• Ensuring the safety and protection of our clients, staff, and high-value merchandise at all times
• Responding swiftly and calmly to any incidents, following company procedures and maintaining discretion
• Supporting store operations through regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, and managing access control
• Working closely with store management, retail teams, and external partners to prevent loss and reduce risk
• Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while representing the Harvey Nichols brand

Is this you?

We’re looking for individuals who are observant, proactive, and professional — with a natural ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver outstanding service in a luxury retail environment.

• Do you have previous experience in a security or loss prevention role, ideally within luxury retail or hospitality?
• Are you confident, composed, and able to handle challenging situations with discretion?
• Do you have a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail?
• Are you a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, client-facing environment?
• Are you flexible and available to work across evenings and weekends?
