Harvey Nichols is seeking a Junior Sous Chef – Pastry to join the talented brigade at the iconic OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie, a landmark destination on London’s Southbank celebrated for exceptional dining, creativity, and breathtaking city views. About the Role

As our new Junior Sous Chef for Pastry, you’ll support the Pastry Head Chef in delivering the outstanding dessert and pastry experience that OXO is famous for. You will:

• Lead and support the pastry team in producing high-quality pastries and desserts that meet OXO’s exacting standards
• Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to develop creative, seasonal menu ideas and contribute to recipe development
• Ensure consistency, precision, and excellence across all pastry sections during service
• Uphold exceptional levels of kitchen hygiene, organisation
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior members of the pastry team
• Stay ahead of new pastry techniques, trends, and ingredients to keep our offering fresh and inspiring
• Demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to excellence, our guests expect an extraordinary dining experience at every service, including evenings and weekends

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about patisserie, thrive in dynamic kitchen environments, and are ready to take a step up in their culinary leadership journey.

• Have you worked in a senior pastry position, such as Demi CDP, CDP or similar?
• Do you have strong technical pastry skills, creativity, and an eye for detail?
• Are you confident leading and supporting a team in a busy, fast-paced kitchen?
• Do you communicate clearly and work collaboratively to deliver exceptional results?
