Harvey Nichols is looking for a highly organised, accurate and proactive Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team at Head Office – the home of modern luxury, innovation and world-class retail. About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you’ll help maintain strong financial controls and support the smooth operation of the wider business.
In this role, you will:
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and process payment runs in line with agreed terms and deadlines.
- Handle supplier queries professionally, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate variances.
- Post and allocate payments, credit notes and debit notes within the finance system.
- Support month-end close processes, including accruals and reporting where required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and company policies.
- Liaise with Buying, Merchandising and other departments to resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation for audit purposes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support system enhancements where appropriate.

- Are you proactive, organised and able to problem-solve effectively?
