Can you tell us a bit about your role and what it entails?
I am the Assistant Retail Manager for Beauty and accessories. I run the ground floor, helping everything run smoothly. Everyday is different and there’s always lots to do!
Please tell us about your career, from where you started to where you are today?
I always wanted to be a make up artist for TV and Film, beauty was always a passion of mine. I worked 2 years in The Body Shop, 10 years for Estee Lauder. I then worked for Space NK in Harvey Nichols and Im currently 6 years in Harvey Nichols in my role as Assistant Manager.
What’s your favourite part about working at HN?
I love the people I work with - were a small store, so you need to know a bit about everything, its always a team effort. I’m very proud to be part of our Dublin team and see how much we achieve when we all help each other.
What are you most proud of workwise?
I’m very proud in how my career has developed and but more importantly, watching how staff develop under my guidance, I have a very good repour with my team and I’m proud that they are comfortable to come to me with any issue big or small.
What motivates and inspires you?
Newness – Its amazing learning about all the brands in-store and getting the chance to share this with staff and customers.
Staff development – It’s the best watching a staff member develop into the best version of themselves under my guidance.

Although I am colour blind, I love the colour khaki Green ??
