About the role… 

  • Pick and process all store fulfilled orders from the shop floor in line with current SLAs stipulated in Company Policy and Procedure for Store Fulfilment.
  • Carry out quality checks of all items picked from the shop floor and liaise with Customer Service where an item may not be pristine.
  • Ensure all store fulfilled orders are packed to the highest specification as stipulated in the Packaging Guidelines.
  • Question unavailable stock before submission of a nil pick to ensure that it is genuine. Obtain appropriate sign off by Senior Management for each nil pick. Complete the nil pick on the system, giving the reasons for non-availability of stock.
  • Ensure all items received from other fulfilment locations which form part of a Collect in Store order are checked off accurately on the system with discrepancies highlighted. Consolidate where appropriate and dispatched for collection within set timeframes.
  • Ensure all online outbound orders for Collection at other sites or for Consolidation are picked, packed and despatched within set timeframes.
  • Fulfil customer order collection at the collect in store desk in line with PPP and SLA, going above and beyond to deliver a high standard of service and experience.
  • Ensure that all orders leaving the Knightsbridge store are packed so as not to be damaged in transit when returned to the Distribution Centre.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Outlook, all Order Management Systems (OMS, FF) and other systems that link to an online order (Merret, SIP).
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the store layout and management structure, communication changes to other members of the team and sharing best practice.
  • Be aware of the Fashion and Beauty brands stocked by Harvey Nichols.
  • Report to Line Manager on performance against department KPIs.
  • Ensure the fulfilment area is kept clean and tidy and restocked with the necessary packaging and consumables.
