About the role… 

We are looking for a self-motivated and efficient individual as Studio Production Coordinator that exudes confidence to assist in the smooth running of our photography schedule and booking of our freelancer talent pool at our photography studio. They will also need to be skilled at reconciling invoices and working to set budgets. Working closely with fellow studio management and finance teams is a critical part of the role as well as managing a small stock team. The ideal candidate will have management experience, be numerate and must demonstrate an understanding of luxury retail.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day workflow of the Photography Studio communicating any concerns to relevant teams, proposing solutions, and ensuring resolutions are sought and actioned.
  • Manage the Studio Stock Controller ensuring their development and progression, setting objectives which are aligned to the strategic direction of the brand.
  • Manage the relationship with the Photography Studio and Logistics. Whilst overseeing the 2 DC staff members, ensuring targets are met daily.
  • Manage a freelance talent pool of photographers, stylists, retouchers and assistants. Creating weekly rota's ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time. Booking and arranging any required travel.
  • Responsible for finding and implementing solutions to cover cancellations and disruptions to shooting.
  • Manage the relationship with external Umbrella company. Responsible for setting up new suppliers and approving daily timesheets and expenses.
  • Supporting the Senior Studio Manager in assisting with budgetary management, tracking expenses and invoice processing.
  • Working alongside other teams at the studio in coordinating resource and on-set production for any additional briefs and seasonal shoots

  • Degree educated or relevant experience gained in a fashion retail environment.
  • Excellent understanding of studio operations and production processes.
  • Proven experience of managing a team.
  • Proven experience working with annual budget requirements
  • Solid experience delivering both operational efficiency and quality.
  • Online trade and commercial experience, preferably with a luxury retailer
  • A passion for product and crucially for always exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
  • Numerate with strong computer literacy. Advanced Excel knowledge essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and eye for detail.
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and value differing perspectives
  • Proactive and able to work with stringent deadlines
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to multi-task
