About the role… 

We are looking for a highly organised and efficient individual as Stock Administrator to be responsible to process key stock movements and adjustments to the system where necessary, promoting stock accuracy at all times by ensuring that DC processes and store stocktake processes are executed as efficiently as possible. You will assist in minimising stock loss within the business by questioning adjustment requests and by implementing efficient ways of processing such requests. 

  •  Process DC stock adjustments and queries within agreed SLA
  • Process, authorise and investigate stock adjustments requested by the Finance & Operations Managers within agreed SLA
  • Process Recode adjustments within agreed SLAs
  • Process Discrepancy adjustments within agreed SLAs
  • Process general stock queries within agreed SLAs
  • Checking that store discrepancies raised (daily) have already been justified and communicated by the DC / Stores.
  • Monitor Hospitality Stock Movements weekly to ensure there is a correlation between Merret and FnB.
  • Support the Stock Manager and Stock Analyst in the processing of stocktake.
  • Support the Stock Manager and Stock Analyst in publishing half year and year end results.
  • Report and audit on available stock including On Approval.
  • Support the stores to execute internal stock counts where required.
  • Ensure OXO and Event sites stocktakes are executed by Period.
  • Ensure consistency of procedure across inventory areas.

  • Strong eye for detail and organisational skills and strives for a high level of accuracy.
  • Proactive and able to work to with stringent deadlines
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to multitask
  • Relevant experience in stock management or warehouse distribution role
  • A solid understanding of inventory related best practice
  • Experience in stock management  system’s  – Merret, SIP, DDMS, Debit Notes, etc.
  • MS office at intermediate level (Outlook, Word, Excel)
