With three amazing venues situated on the eighth floor or one of the most iconic landmarks in London, OXO is searching for a new Pastry Sous Chef in the Brasserie to join its thriving restaurants on the Southbank. As the new Pastry Sous Chef, you will work 40 hours a week in our amazing Pasty space.

About the role…

As our new Pastry Sous Chef, you will be helping prepare food for our customers and make their eating experience with us a memorable 5* experience. You will:

  • To produce and serve food in accordance with current recipes.
  • To ensure that by good housekeeping that the correct standards of hygiene cleanliness and safety are maintained.
  • To be aware of and maintain the kitchen’s Health and Safety arrangements.
  • To be aware of the security regulations within the kitchen and throughout the restaurant.
  • To supervise and instruct all subordinates in the preparation and assembly of dishes and quality standards.
  • To liaise with Front of House management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant.

Is this you?

We are looking for our Pastry Sous Chef to diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and food and are looking for something uniquely different.

  • Have you done something like this before?
  • As Assistant Manager - Bar you will ideally have a successful high end restaurant background with proven experience supervising teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the beverage industry, especially cocktails (mixologist is a plus).
  •  Have experience of leading, training and coaching a team.
  • Impeccable command of the English language both written and spoken.
  • Passion for beverage and keeping up to date with latest liquor.
