About the role… 

As an Online Stylist you will be responsible for styling luxury fashion and product still life for Harvey Nichols online. You will create inspiring, on-brand, on-trend outfits across all families of business, take accountability for daily styling output for both men's and women’s fashion. You will ensure product selection complies with the Harvey Nichols aesthetic and is commercially viable. You will have a strong eye for detail and provide eye catching styling whilst constantly improving the online shopping experience at Harvey Nichols.com

• Reports into Online Senior Stylist.
• Scan in approximately 90 styling looks into our company CMS system
• Provide support to the stylists ensuring their rails are steamed and prepped ready for shooting
• Ensure stock is in the correct place and is not mishandled. Working closely with the Stock admin to ensure shoes are taped to avoid damage, jewellery is sanitised daily and any dry cleaning that is required is sent out.
• Ensure the styling room is kept organised and presentable. Working closely with the Stock admin and the buy teams to send back any low in stock items or store requests.
• Ensure the photography sets and model changing rooms are kept clean and organised daily. Ensuring the model kit is always replenished, making any necessary orders.
• Assist the Styling team with any additional tasks.
• Attend and contribute to Styling team meetings
• Proactive in suggesting improvements to studio processes and assist the styling manager with implementation.

 Is this you?  

We are looking for individuals who embrace diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and are looking for something uniquely different.  

• Degree in Fashion or equivalent
• Proven experience working with models and comfortable giving direction
• Experience working in a fast paced studio fashion environment (luxury preferred)
• The ability to style strong on brand and on trend looks on a model set
• The ability to style still life lay down shots whilst having an exceptional eye for visual composition, proportion and detail
• Able to work well within a team as well as guide and motivate less experienced members in a highly pressurised studio environment
• A strong and thorough knowledge of Menswear and Womenswear designers and brands
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
• Great attention to detail
• Have a positive can-do attitude.
• Pro-active and able to show initiative and ideas to constantly improve the image quality of the site and studio processes
• Team player – build relationships with other internal and external teams
• Excellent work ethic and ability to multi-task
• Strong organisational skills and strives for a high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of Socio/Cultural Trends (fashion, art, music, pop culture, celebrities, news, etc.)
