About the role…
As a Buying Administrator, you will assist the Buyers with administrative support for the Beauty Department. You will work across a variety of areas including Advent Calendars, Gift With Purchase, Hampers and our Beyond Beauty ranges. You will:
- Assist in the product selection process by helping to research and source new beauty brands, trends, and innovations in the market.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and problem-solving.
- Work closely with the merchandising, marketing, and store operations teams to ensure successful product launches, promotions, and in-store merchandising.
- Provide support to other departments as necessary, particularly during peak sales periods.
- Email and liaise with all brands on nominations for the Advent Calendar, GWP etc
- Set up brand meetings
- Attend meeting with buyers and input to product selection as required
- Liasing with brands for samples
- Assist on product negotiation for costing with buyer
- Work with the marketing team to create a package of support as required
- Work with Merchandising and Delivery teams, attending meetings as required to ensure stock is ordered and delivered on time
- Track and chase deliveries of stock as required
- Organise photoshoot with DC photo studio team
- Monitor all stock levels
- Work with the corporate team on creating and building bespoke hampers
- Working with Retail sites on allocations
- Liaising with suppliers to manage the end-to-end image and copy process for online.
- Supporting with online brand updates.
- Support on the online acceleration strategy working with suppliers to improve their online presence.
- Complete weekly competitor analysis and share promotional update with stores.
- Support the Buyer and Assistant Buyers with the management of store promotional sites, window displays, treatment room bookings.
- Respond to store queries and requests.
- Sample management for social & editorial content.

- Strong passion for the beauty and luxury retail industry, with a keen interest in current trends and products.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
