About the role

  • Responsible for the management, delivery, support and overall ownership of all retail systems
  • Working with the wider IT team to ensure the workload is properly defined, scoped, costed and scheduled and that resources are utilised efficiently;
  • Implement and maintain effective Stakeholder Management, influencing and guiding key stakeholders whilst ensuring that senior management is engaged;
  • Manage and maintain strong partnerships with existing third parties to ensure continuous quality, competitiveness, innovations and timeliness;
  • Accountable for ensuring all company system documentation standards are being adhered to by both the internal teams and external partners for commercial systems
  • To constantly review all retail systems to ensure they are delivering high availability, secure and optimal performance. 
  • To provide clear reporting of business change progress, recommendations, issues and solutions to the Head of Digital Technology.
  • To work closely with the IT Infrastructure & Service Manager to ensure that underlying infrastructure supports any new initiatives in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • To identify opportunities for the implementation of improvements in procedures, customer service or other efficiencies in operation and to work with appropriate internal and external resources to achieve these changes.
  • To report on system and third party supplier performance, as required.

About your experience

  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience of working on relevant business areas and technology
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering change in a fast-moving Multichannel Retail environment
  • Knowledge of support processes
  • Demonstrable successful experience in managing the development of retail solutions in line with strategic goals
