Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Kitchen Porter to join its thriving flagship store department in London – Knightsbridge. Our culture is based on inclusivity; we embrace diversity. Whoever you are, Harvey Nichols has a place for you.

As the new Kitchen Porter, you will work 40 hours a week in our flagship store on a full time bases for a fixed-term of 12 months.

Contract end date of 31st July 2025!

About the role…

As a Kitchen Porter you will be serving amazing food for our customers and make their eating & drinking experience with us a memorable 5* experience. You will: 

  • Ensure that crockery & cutlery are cleaned, maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and safely stored to prevent unnecessary breakage.
  • Remove and dispose of all kitchen waste and to carry out general cleaning tasks as instructed by the Grill Chef or Duty Manager.
  • Cleaning and safe storage of all cooking pots and food preparation equipment and refrigerated areas.
  • To be aware of all relevant emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Attend any relevant training courses and continue own personal development.
