We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Digital Marketing Team based in our Knightsbridge Head Office for a maternity cover, on a fixed term contract basis. The role is focused on managing our performance channels, paid search, Organic Search, Paid social and Display Advertising. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in planning, activation and reporting on large scale paid advertising campaigns. About the role…

The main objective of the Digital Marketing Executive is to grow the performance channels, and support in the execution of the Digital Marketing Strategy in line with key KPI measures. You will help build upon Harvey Nichols online influence, increasing brand and product awareness, driving engagement, recruiting new customers and contributing to our digital growth. The Digital Marketing Executive day to day will be looking after all tasks relating to all channels. Key to the role is managing the relationships with the agencies, feeding information back & forth to continuously optimise channel performance, campaign management, execution and budget management. You will:

  • Working in partnership with our media agencies to support in the execution and campaign management across all channels including Paid Search, Paid Social & Display advertising.
  • Working in partnership with our SEO agency, and content team to champion technical, off site & on site SEO working with internal stakeholders to collaborate.
  • Working with Senior stakeholders to create new and innovative growth strategies to grow our performance marketing channels.
  •  Maintain strong working relationships with our online content and PR teams, to ensure a cohesive message across digital marketing activity.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities to test, learn and maximise performance
  • Build strong relationships with buying & CRM teams to identify the most suitable products to promote, aligned to relevant customer profiles.
  • Regularly report on performance and ongoing optimisation across the channels
  • Brief the internal creative team for required digital assets and work with content teams to maximise any opportunities to use content online.
  • On-going and meticulous management of digital budgets, working with the finance & digital team to ensure these are always adhered to.
  • Own the relationship with any third party tools associated with executing, tracking or analysing paid media campaigns
  • Collaborate with Creative team to ensure strategies and creative are optimised for performance
  • Keeping up to date with the most recent developments in Search Engine Marketing (SEM);
  • Paying particular attention to any significant Google algorithmic changes;
  • Researching competitors, keywords and compelling ad text;
  • Managing & optimising campaigns using a combination of off-site and on-site SEO
  • Providing analysis and making recommendations to improve campaign performance;
  • Working with and providing weekly status updates as part of the team;
  • Ensuring that conversion tracking and other KPI measurements are in place;
  • Report writing and campaign success measurement;
