As Beauty Buying Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the accurate creation of products from the start to going live, and all maintenance of the sku thereafter. You will support the buying department in sample management, product data management, supplier liaison and general administration. Online retailing is a fast-paced environment so possessing the ability to prioritise and reprioritise, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail will be the key to success in this role.

About the role…
- Accurately manage the end to end buying critical path, amending and communicating any changes in a timely fashion to meet deadlines.
- Working closely across teams, such as Merch & Marketing to ensure a seamless process and successful new launches promotions, and in-store merchandising – communicating on any risks to deadlines.
- Managing funding forms to achieve accurate support for the business
- Coordinate and maintain the company supplier contact list.
- Keep abreast of competitor activity pricing promotions and assortment with a weekly comp shop
- Sample management. Organise and manage the receipt of all sample requirements to ensure they are readily available for team presentations or editorial content / shoots / events.
- General admin responsibilities as an agile team are essential. We will require you to action adhoc tasks and demonstrate effective workload management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and problem-solving.
- Work with Merchandising and Delivery teams, attending meetings as required to ensure stock is ordered and delivered on time.
- To undertake store / shop floor walks / visits where required – especially KB
- To understanding of weekly trade reporting processes and impact of your role on these. Report running and data collation for key meetings.
- Liaising with suppliers to manage the end-to-end image and copy process for online. Supporting with online brand updates.
- Complete weekly competitor analysis and share promotional update with stores.
- Support the Buyer and Assistant Buyers with the management of store promotional sites, treatment room bookings etc.
- Assist in the preparation of product brief sheets / NLF and chasing supplier were required. Requesting and checking product information ensuring accuracy and efficient implementation / ownership of all buying trackers / documents etc.
- To maintain accurate and tidy filing systems at all times for the department
- To instigate improvements as appropriate to working practices & systems where appropriate.
- To assist in the training of new BA’s and take a proactive approach to training and skills required to advance in your job role.
