Deliver Exceptional Guest Experience
· Provide gracious, attentive and intuitive service, ensuring every guest is welcomed promptly and warmly.
· Anticipate guest needs and elevate the experience through confident recommendations, product knowledge and a refined service manner.
· Handle all guest interactions with courtesy, efficiency and genuine professionalism.
· Take orders accurately, following each stage of the service journey to ensure consistent excellence.
Drinks Preparation & Product Mastery
· Prepare and present beverages, including signature cocktails, classics, and wines, swiftly, tidily and to Harvey Nichols’ exacting standards.
· Maintain an expert-level understanding of the full drinks list and menu, enabling you to guide guests, upsell thoughtfully and answer queries with confidence.
· Uphold all licensing regulations and responsible service standards at all times.
Sales & Commercial Awareness
· Maximise sales through elegant up-selling, informed recommendations and a clear understanding of promotions, events and brand partnerships.
· Ensure all transactions are correct, accurate and processed according to company procedures.
Operational Excellence
· Maintain a polished, immaculate environment, ensuring all bar areas are consistently clean, safe and hazard-free.
· Follow all Health & Safety, food hygiene and store compliance standards.
· Support the management team by promptly reporting any operational or customer service concerns.
Teamwork & Culture
· Foster strong, respectful working relationships across the Bar, Café and wider Fifth Floor team.
· Contribute positively to the department’s culture, embodying our values of style, energy, authenticity and expertise.
· Demonstrate proactive personal development, seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
