As Senior Stock Movement Assistant, you will keep back‑of‑house operations running smoothly by supporting accurate stock control, efficient stock movements, and well‑organised stockroom spaces. You’ll also play a key role in fulfilling customer orders - picking, packing, and dispatching with speed and accuracy to meet our high service standards and KPIs.
This role suits a retail professional with strong attention to detail, the ability to work quickly under pressure, and a proactive, solution‑driven approach.
About the role…
Retail Operations
Implement KPIs, operational guidelines, and company procedures.
Oversee goods receipt, quality checks, storage, and stock movement.
Monitor deliveries, discrepancies, and ensure accurate record keeping.
Manage store transfers, returns, and non-sellable stock processes.
Support the store team with damaged or irregular stock, escalating issues as needed.
Maintain strong knowledge of operational systems (Merret, Stock in Progress, Stock Enquiry, etc.).
Multichannel Operations
Ensure accurate order picking, dispatch, and compliance with service-level KPIs.
Process “Collect in Store” orders within required timelines.
Maintain organised workspaces and manage scanners, tags, and dispatch materials.
Record nil picks, report technical issues, and provide feedback on missing items.
Build strong working relationships with multichannel and store teams.
Ensure dispatch standards meet brand requirements.
Stock & Inventory
Support biannual stock takes and ongoing cycle counts.
Assist with investigations into negatives and unreceipted deliveries.
Coordinate reticketing, markdown prep, and returns activities.
Work with management to optimise stockroom layout and capacity.
Team Leadership & Support
Coordinate and allocate daily tasks across the Stock & Multichannel team.
Manage team rotas, monitor absences, and ensure adequate operational coverage.
Support onboarding of new starters and encourage ongoing knowledge sharing.
Deliver morning briefings and conduct regular performance reviews.

Previous experience within stock movement/management
A good level of PC skills - high level of accuracy
