Harvey Nichols is looking for an organised, analytical and detail-oriented Merchandising Administrator to join our Beauty Merchandising team at Head Office in Knightsbridge, the home of modern luxury, innovation and the world’s most desirable designer brands. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about luxury Beauty and commercial trading to play a key role within a fast-paced and dynamic merchandising environment.
About the Role
As a Merchandising Administrator within Beauty, you will support the Merchandising team across stock, sales and intake management, ensuring accurate data, smooth processes and strong commercial control. You will play a vital role in supporting trading decisions, maintaining stock integrity and helping to drive departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
Raising and maintaining purchase orders in line with merchandising plans, ensuring accuracy across systems
Updating delivery schedules and working closely with Merchandisers, Buyers, Suppliers, Warehouse and Stores to ensure timely and efficient stock flow
Monitoring deliveries, chasing outstanding stock and proactively resolving issues
Supporting intake management, stock reconciliation and system updates
Producing regular and ad hoc sales, stock and intake reports to support trading decisions
Analysing performance data by brand, category and store, highlighting risks and opportunities
Checking supplier confirmations and resolving discrepancies in partnership with the Buying team
Managing stock movements including cancellations, returns, transfers and stock swaps
Supporting the administration of sale-or-return stock, supplier funding and debit notes
Responding to Store and Warehouse queries, providing timely and effective solutions
Maintaining accurate merchandising trackers including OTB, FPSS, stock and brand performance files
Supporting continuity lines, replenishment processes and availability tracking
Actioning retail price changes accurately and within required timelines
Maintaining clear and accurate departmental filing systems and documentation
Ensuring all data is handled securely and confidentially
Supporting the wider merchandising team with general administrative tasks and excellent housekeeping

We’re looking for someone organised, commercially minded and enthusiastic about working in a luxury retail environment.
Do you have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy?
Are you highly numerate, confident using Excel and comfortable working with data?
Can you manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment?
Do you have strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively across teams?
Have you previously worked in a merchandising, planning or retail head office role — or are you keen to start your merchandising career?
