As the new Wine Specialist, you will work 37.5 hours a week in our flagship store.

About the role…
As a Wine Specialist you will be an expert knowledge and passion for Wine and Spirits to enable an exceptional customer experience. Facilitate and deliver a variety of Customer events in order to maximise all sales opportunities
Be an expert ambassador of customer experience; Engage with all customers to provide a unique and experiential journey across all Harvey Nichols platforms. Build a solid understanding and knowledge of all brands on offer throughout the business to create a seamless customer journey in store and online.
Consistently deliver all personal KPI targets.
Acquire and onboard new client contacts through CRM and Harvey Nichols loyalty app to secure retention and loyalty interaction. Ensuring GDPR is followed correctly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all group and local events and in-store activations, to support a full, well-rounded customer journey.
Work with the teams in store in order to maximise all opportunities to run customer events, i.e. Wine masterclasses, Pairing dinners etc..
To ensure effective stock management to maintain a high standard of presentation across the department to maximise selling opportunities to all Harvey Nichols customers.
To manage loss prevention by customer interaction and maintaining a keen awareness of store security procedures and policies and to carry out regular stock checks.
Handle all point of sale transactions in line with the company’s set standards and regulations to ensure that all departmental and store systems are adhered to. Escalating issues to the relevant line manager.
Ensure that the department is maintained in a safe manner, free of hazards, and that store Health and Safety Regulations are always adhered to. Escalating issues to the relevant line manager.
Contribute towards a thriving team environment through engaging in service training and team activities with a positive mindset.
