We are seeking a UX Designer to join our IT Team. This position will be responsible for projects from scoping, analysing, briefing, architecting, UX and designing the output. The position will also help coordinate the build phase working very closely with the web development team in an agile development methodology.
What you will be doing
Conduct and initiate tactical and strategic analysis (on-site data and consumer insights) to evaluate potential issues of a current process or a user story outlined by a business stakeholder,
Support the development of business rationale and KPIs related to the project and agree targets post-delivery with product owners and stakeholders with the support of the digital product lead
Conduct requirements analysis including personas, scenarios, task analysis, usability testing, and competitor analysis collaborating with Web Development, Product Marketing, Creative and Marketing teams where relevant
Create scamps, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and interaction designs for digital products, utilising the appropriate methods and tools to inform priorities and support innovation. Methods available may include, but are not limited to A/B testing, remote testing, quantitative/qualitative research
Develop UX principles and guidelines to support the evolvement of Digital Brand Guidelines for Harvey Nichols.com
Co-project manage the delivery with the digital development team and respective product owners.
Co-ordinate and participate in testing and final UAT sign-off.
Skills and experience you need
You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills
You will have an advanced skills using UX design software including Omnigraffle, Axure, Balsamiq
You will have a strong customer-focus with knowledge of ecommerce, usability and experience design
You will have a project management skills
You have a keen interest and awareness of future developments in website tends and innovations
You are highly organised with the ability to work to strict deadlines
You are enthusiastic and self-motivated
You have a positive attitude with good attention to detail
