We currently have an exciting position in our Knightsbridge Store, as a Concierge Host/ Gift Wrap Assistant. This will be a temporary store based role; starting as soon as possible!
This position is full time, working 40 hours a week. Shifts will be over weekends and late nights so flexibility in working hours is expected.
Summary of the Role
Working as part of the Information team, this role is dedicated to providing a 5* service to our clients. You will provide a memorable and seamless client experience from kerb side and across all touch points within our luxury boutique store. You will embody the Harvey Nichols Brand Values and utilise your extensive brand and product knowledge across all categories stocked within the business. The Information Host will demonstrate our commitment to clients through the provision of a superior shopping experience.
To provide a warm greeting to the client with a 5* welcome experience. To thank clients for their visit as they leave the store and extend a genuine invitation to return.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the store, its products, services and brands, championing 5* client service.
To maintain a high level of knowledge about the Harvey Nichols Loyalty Programme “Rewards by Harvey Nichols”. Be confident with promoting the programme to clients and in answering and questions.
To show devotion to clients by providing the highest standards of service at all times.
To assist with the Gift Wrapping process
To act as an ambassador for the store and the Harvey Nichols brand and present a smart, stylish and professional image at all times.
To demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to really understand client needs, promoting the right products, brands, services and events as required.
To conduct store tours, promoting our luxury retail store to external business contacts.
To show a passion for our store, its products and services and to demonstrate a genuine knowledge of Fashion, Style, Beauty, and Hospitality.
To develop and maintain knowledge of the local area and London, to be able to confidently assist clients, provide directions and make suggestions where necessary.
To provide effective support with daily operation of Store Concierge/Tax Free Shipping Lounge.
To ensure that effective communication and close relationships are maintained with team colleagues and also with wider teams across the store.
To follow agreed procedures and carry out associated administration to ensure service standards and SLAs are met, whilst ensuring compliance.
To demonstrate a confident and pro-active approach to complaint handling.
To request and collate client experience feedback through established means and report as required.
