  • To ensure the effective control and monitoring of stock throughout the department.   This will be conducted in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service is given by you at all times. 
  • Handle all telephone queries in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Ensure till stationary par standards are maintained
  • Ensure Back of House and stockroom standards are maintained to a level agreed by your manager
  • Ensure the correct and timely administration of Inter-Branch Transfers are processed
  • Complete and audit availability reports and escalate to line manager where appropriate.
  • Process negative stock reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process stock adjustments as per availability reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Complete ticket requests as required.
  • Ensure that par levels are maintained on the shop floor and replenished as required.
  • Ensure that audit standards are adhered to and maintained.
  • Conduct Merret training as required by line manager.
  • Ensure efficient running of departmental stock takes and feedback to line manager as appropriate.
  • Identify write-off stock and escalate to Senior Manager to authorise and sign off.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of operational procedures within stock rooms and loading bay.
  • Ensure that the department is maintained in a safe manner, free of hazards, and that the store Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of store security procedures and policies and to carry out stock checks as directed by the Department Manager.
