We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to join our busy and bustling team in our Second Floor restaurant in Bristol, Cabot Circus.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef to work with an energetic, highly skilled and knowledgeable team, gaining invaluable skills and knowledge to assist them in their career. This role is full time, 45 hours per week, working weekends and evenings.

As a Sous Chef you will play a substantial supportive role in managing the kitchen to ensure our customers have a 5* experience.

What you will be doing

  • Support all Senior chefs and Head Chef across the kitchen
  • Support with all recruitment and team development
  • Effectively manage levels of Mise-En-Place, portion sizes and ingredients
  • Carry out staff training on a daily basis and identify where further training is required
  • Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it
  • You will be required to work weekends and evenings

Skills and experience you need

  • Previous experience in a senior role in the kitchen
  • Good knife skills
  • Elementary food hygiene
