What you will be doing

The Role

The Sous Chef will be assisting the Head Chef  across the kitchen to ensure the smooth running of service:

  • Ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service is given by you, and your team, at all times. 
  • Consider the satisfaction of customers at all times by managing kitchen efficiencies in order that meals are provided at an appropriate speed
  • Assist the Head Chef in the recruitment of staff.
  • Produce and serve food in accordance with current authorised recipes.
  • Ensure that the department is maintained in a safe manner, free of hazards, and that the store Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times.

The role in full time, working 40 hours a week. You will be required to work weekends and evenings. 

Skills and experience you need

At least 1 years’ Sous Chef experience
Good knife skills
Elementary food hygiene
