This is an exciting role for an ambitious and driven Solutions Arcitect to join our technology team. The right candidate will thrive within a fast-paced and innovative environment and preferably have experience of TOGAF and Enterprise.
You will ensure that HN solutions are designed in a fit for purpose way design. Ensuring functional, performance and security are balanced, to create an optimal solution.
Works primarily with Head of Digital Technology and Product owners to identify requirements, recommend solutions and improvements, as well as providing internal and market knowledge. Ensures solutions can integrate with each other. Also works with the rest of the team to help shape the technology strategy that will ensure we deliver solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity.
What you’ll be doing:
Liaise extensively with all other IT teams to design solutions
Capture architecture requirements and document design specifications;
Review third party solutions assessing them for both technical and business suitability incorporating existing or new technologies;
Help ensure any new solution fully integrates with the existing systems;
Provide appropriate documentation to ensure solutions are understood
Keep up to date with technical and industry sector developments and advise IT team regarding latest market trends and best practice
About your experience:
Use of formal methodologies e.g. TOGAF preferred.
Experience in Enterprise (preferred) and Solutions Architecture.
Knowledge and experience of delivering omni-channel related solutions in a fast-moving digital and physical retail environment.
Experience with in-depth commercial retail knowledge (preferred)
Knowledge of SQL, XML and web platforms would be beneficial
Some exposure to system development.
