As Social Media Manager this role is a critical part of our creative and marketing team to increase sales revenue and traffic driven to harveynichols.com via social media. Developing the Harvey Nichols social media content and strategy. This role supports the brand, stores, foodmarkets and restaurants and ecommerce site, generating engagement and interactivity with the brand, and foster positive community spirit through the online and offline community.

What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Harvey Nichols social media communities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+ and others.
You will work alongside the Head of CRM and Digital Marketing and Managing Editor to develop the HN social media tone of voice and to create a social media style guide to be applied and adhered to ensuring best practice and a consistent tone of voice.
You will generate compelling and engaging social media content and manage a fast-paced and reactive schedule of regular updates
You will work with the editorial team to plan and generate compelling blog content to support all aspect of the business in line with the online marketing calendar.
You will work closely with the Online Marketing Manager to ensure social strategy ties in with other online marketing channels.
You will devise and implement creative, strategic and press-worthy social media campaigns to support press and marketing initiatives throughout year.
You will have proven social media background (agency or client side).
You will have proven experience of using content publishing systems, including Hootsuite, Conversocial, and social media monitoring tools.
You will have experience within the retail, luxury and/or fashion sector.
You will have established contacts within the fashion, beauty and food blogging community.
You will have experience developing digital and content strategies across a variety of social platforms.
You will have experience and understanding of customer service.
You will have experience in a fashion environment.
