Reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead, the SEO Executive will be looking after all tasks relating to SEO, and supporting in the implementation of the SEO strategy online, as well as continuously working to optimise channel performance across all online categories.   

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the SEO agency
  • Operate with the goal of driving growth across organic traffic and revenue against performance targets.
  • Become the Harvey Nichols in-house champion of SEO, ensuring that all relevant teams and stakeholders understand the importance of technical, off-site, and on-site SEO
  • Investigate SEO trends and opportunities, evaluating with SEO agency how to best put them in practice
  • Supports the Digital Marketing Lead to develop class leading SEO strategies that clearly articulate success
  • Provide ongoing keyword ranking analysis and work with the SEO agency & internal stakeholders to provide recommendations to improve campaign performance[PP1] ;
  • Manage day-to-day on-page optimisation working with the content team across the following: h1s, URLs, meta data, internal links, and body content) of ecommerce and blog websites.
  • Providing weekly status updates as part of the Digital Marketing Team, representing the SEO Team in Trade meetings.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests and insights for the wider business
  • Conduct ongoing and adhoc analysis to produce reports on Organic Search KPIs and evaluate the success of activities.
  • Maintains a close link between all performance channels, collaborating and sharing insights where possible
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on SEO KPI’s using Google Analytics
  • Conduct competitor Analysis on monthly basis
  • Researching competitors, keywords, and compelling ad text.

About your experience:

  • Understanding of HTML Basics
  • Understanding of Web Analytics Fundamentals
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Performance Marketing
  • Hands-on SEO Experience either in-house or agency based
  • Experience in both on and off-site search engine optimisation
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using SEO tools & crawlers
  • Project management skills desirable
