As the first point of contact you will providing expert knowledge (WSET L2 or above desired) and passion for Wine and Spirits to enable an exceptional customer experience. You will facilitate and deliver a variety of customer events in order to maximise all sales opportunities. As well as develop and maintain client relationships with high-net-worth wine/spirit buyers and ensure personal service at all times.
What you will be doing
Engage with all customers to provide a unique and experiential journey across all Harvey Nichols platforms.
Build a solid understanding and knowledge of all brands on offer throughout the business to create a seamless customer journey in store and online.
Acquire and onboard new client contacts through CRM and Harvey Nichols loyalty app.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all group and local events as well as in-store activities.
Work with the teams in store to maximise all opportunities to run customer events.
Ensure effective stock management and maintain a high standard of presentation across the department.
Maintain regular communications with wine buyers to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
Handle all point of sale transactions in line with the company’s set standards and regulations.
Contribute towards a thriving team environment by engaging in service training and team activities with a positive mindset.
Deputise in the absence of the Foodmarket and Wineshop Manager when required i.e. provide annual leave cover.
Skills and experience you need
Previous experience within the world of Food and Wine
WSET L2 or above qualification
Able to demonstrate evidence of having achieved personal sales and KPI targets
Ability to analyse and understand numerical data
Excellent IT skills
