To provide a secure point of entry/exit to the building. To control the movement of Company property leaving the premises. To ensure all staff and visitors sign in and out at the relevant times. Monitor various alarm systems situated at the Staff/ visitor entrance.


Job Objectives:

Ensure the security Reception is not left unattended at any time and that authorised persons are give access to the building.

Ensure that all temporary staff, contractors and visitors sign in and out and are made aware of store emergency procedures and out of hours contractor are given emergency induction and visitor passes.

Monitor all store alarm systems & advise on activations and take prompt necessary action.

Ensure that persons are not attempting to leave the premises via the security entrance with any property belonging to Harvey Nichols without prior payment, relevant permission or paper work

Direct visitors/ contractors to the relevant area and contact relevant personnel regarding visitors.

Assist with store evacuations and emergency procedures.

Ensure the safe keeping of any personal property by way of following strict guidelines.

To monitor and operate the access control system in place

Ensure the safe keeping of any building keys and equipment


Qualifications & Experience required:

Experience of security and intruder equipment (desirable)

Receptionist experience (desirable)
