Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Sales Consultant to join its thriving Beyond Beauty team in Bristol. Our culture is based on inclusivity; we embrace diversity. Whoever you are, Harvey Nichols has a place for you. As the new Sales Consultant, you will work 40 hours a week starting on a rota basis, including some weekends. The rate of pay for this role if £11.44 per hour.

About the role…
As a Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and help make their Beauty dreams a reality, providing a fun and enjoyable 5* experience.  

You will: 

  • Greet all customers, offering exceptional customer service by understanding their needs to confidently guide them on our products ranges  
  • Be a source of knowledge & expertise on our diverse range of brands in store  
  • Provide a personalised shopping experience to all customers  
  • Offer all customers additional beauty services where possible 
  • Work across the Harvey Nichols brand portfolio and store offering to maximise sales to our customers, including products, services and events 
  • Conduct pre – booked customer makeup appointments  
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively up selling from the Beauty floor, including; Skincare, Fragrance, Haircare and Makeup  
  • Collaborate with the Beauty team to achieve sales goals and support customers 
  • Collaborate with Sales Advisors across the store to promote and upsell Beauty to existing customers 
  • Show we are obsessed with style by making sure the Beauty department looks amazing and is merchandised to a high standard 
  • Flexibility on rota is a must; customer service can’t wait during weekends and evenings!
