We are seeking a Print Production Executive who will working with the Marketing and Media teams, and under the guidance of the Managing Editor. As a Print Production Executive you will direct and manage all aspects of print production for publications including HN Magazine, the Store Guide, the Services Guide and the Hampers Guide.

 

What you will be doing

 

Oversee project budgets and seek quotations for additional print projects
Negotiate costs with suppliers and printers for all print collateral and print media
Maintain and project-manage any content updates as required
Project-manage sponsored related content and ensure realistic timescales are agreed with the editorial team and with external brands
Coordinate the delivery of magazines, store guides etc. to HN’s Distribution Centre and our regional stores.
Working alongside the Managing Editor and Creative Director, you will oversee design and editorial work flow and elevate any work-flow or timing issues to the Managing Editor when necessary

 

Skills and experience you need

 

You will have 1 or more years working in magazine print production
You will have excellent visual and verbal communication skills
You will have strong attention to detail
You will have good knowledge of PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

You are a confident self-starter who proceed with projects without guidance
You are a problem-solver who is methodical, detail oriented and organized
You are confident dealing with queries at all levels
You have a “can do it” attitude
