Supporting the Fashion PR Manager you will be responsible for managing a variety of responsibilities including; stock trafficking for key editorial shoots, press appointments in store and collating seasonal as well as brand press releases. You will act as an in store stylist for the Harvey Nichols brand, liaising directly with press on a daily basis, regarding stock loans, prices and image requests. You may be required to manage junior members of the team and liaise with external PR offices and work closely with other internal departments across our business.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with key Fashion Editors/Assistants/Stylists within the industry as well as building relationships with all our stores
  • Manage client press stock loans, including stock checks, send-outs, returns, maintenance, press appointments, liaising with couriers, coordinating samples with external press offices, including international offices.
  • Responsible for all stock loans and returns
  • Conduct regular store updates with the brand managers and floor administrators leading to insider information such as; sell-out items, customer waiting lists etc.
  • Manage and over- see in store press filming and photography.
  • Support the Press Team with key business projects, events and activity, as per the annual press strategy and key business objectives.
  • Respond to press requests from journalists and stylists, including image send outs and quotes.


About your experience:

  • You will have prior experience working within a fashion showroom environment. Ideally with additional experience within a luxury fashion in-house PR or agency.
  • You with have some relationships/contacts across all multi-channel media.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language and grammar in verbal and written communications (a degree in PR or English is desirable).
  • You have excellent attention to detail and a competent level of PC skills, experienced in Word; Excel; Outlook; PowerPoint.
