What you will be doing:
Image Editing & Planning
Working alongside the Junior Market Editor you’ll be responsible for curating inspiring picture edits for Harveynichols.com.
Provide hands-on image sourcing, casting a wide net to source inspiring imagery from a variety of fashion media and sources to influence imagery ideas and choices.
Create a seasonal ‘lookbook’ of strong Harvey Nichols commercial assets. Regularly reviewing brand platforms, partnerships, and social media to provide a broad range of assets to be utilised across different areas of the business.
In collaboration with the Junior Market Editor, manage the photographic library and the visual representation of the buy (brand imagery, HN model and still life shoots).?
Maintain a weekly tracking system of image utilisation to create a cohesive brand identity across channels.
Track image usage across platforms to prevent repetition and ensure usage rights are being adhered to.
Work collaboratively with Design, Copy and the Creative Production Manager to ensure assets are delivered to deadlines.
Liaise with Buying teams, the Junior Market Editor, and the Harvey Nichols studio on weekly still life shoots. Supporting the studio team to produce a high level of imagery.
Support with developing still life shoot concepts when necessary.
Be responsible for end-to-end sample management for all your own projects.
Feed into asset creation and product selection specifically for Rewards and promotion communications to ensure best assets are being utilised.
Be responsible for liaising with various departments in Harvey Nichols including editorial, CRM, buying, production, styling, marketing, loyalty and social teams to coordinate content/image requirements across all Harvey Nichols platforms. ?
Build an in-depth knowledge of seasonal buying packs, regularly liaising with buyers to ensure product accuracy and viability.
Attend regular cross-departmental meetings with the confidence to represent the Creative Content team and communicate our strategy
Work closely with the wider Creative and Marketing teams to ensure delivery on all briefs of all families of business.
Display willingness to work flexible hours to meet deadlines and help team members
Maintain relationships with all departments and stores across the HN business, as well as PR teams and brands.
A bit about your experience:
Experience as a Picture Editor within a retail, publishing, or marketing environment within fashion and/or luxury lifestyle brands.
Proven experience of image editing.
Experience with still life shoots and working with photographers
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Heaps of motivation and enthusiasm.
Ability to manage a varied workload, and work to deadlines.
Ability to work excellently within a team, putting the team first
A strong knowledge of fashion, designers, brands and influencers
Unflappability and positive spirit when under pressure
