About the role…

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Ecommerce Team for an Online Trading Assistant. We need a passionate individual who is excited by learning about how to drive revenue though product management and online trade. This will be a highly demanding role, working in a fast-paced online environment, focusing on supporting the trading team in delivering online trade across product, search and merchandising online for all Marketplace departments and supporting with site wide promotions globally. Duties include working with the Marketplace team to oversee the enrichment process of all products, daily operations of the product cycle from Mirakl to Live, Visual Merchandising, and supporting with reporting & analytics when needed.  The Assistant will also help to organise, plan, test and execute all promotional activity across online. These will include BAU promotional activity such as promo codes, customer group discounts and general shopping cart activities. As well as seasonal promotions (Shopping Party, Black Friday, Sale Preview etc). You will:

 

Promotions 

  • Support the Trading Manager with good understanding of BigCommerce and the promotions engine. 
  • Manage VIP/ Staff set ups, CRM & Affiliate evergreen promotions, providing the business with usage metrics and inclusion/exclusion updates 
  • Supporting with moderation checks - Supporting with Moderation Checks - reviewing Refer-a-Friend gaming queues, signing off product reviews, overseeing product sold in-store & inline via Resell. 
  • Work with Trading Manager and Development team to ensure all promotions going live are tested with all outlined variations. 
  • Raising and owning tickets with IT, to deliver end to end problem resolution and related communication with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure right first-time delivery. 
  • Own and improve administrative function – promotion briefing process for teams, supplying information for Business Memo’s, updating CSC of promos launching/changes during promos, updating of the promotions calendar for the trading team Support Online Trading Manager with weekly promotional trade reporting. 
  • Use Content Square to analyse promotion UX. 
  • Monitor competitors for promotional activity, brand mix, and pricing. 
  • Work with the Customer Service team to resolve any customer issues caused by promotions. 
  • Deputise for Online Trading Manager when necessary. 
  • Be engaged and actively proposing opportunities for process improvement, driving efficiency and CX. 

 

Marketplace

  • Oversee daily product upload process from Mirakl, to Pimberly, to BC and up to the site. 
  • Working with Marketplace Account Managers to understand product prioritisation and team focus areas. 
  • Management of the products in Pimberly, reviewing all brand categorisation and enrichment 
  • Work with Trading Manager to maintain and ensure compliance with all Marketplace guidelines and imagery standards. 
  • Responsible for signing off all product in your areas to go live to the site daily. 
  • Creation of new categories for editorial stories and CLP/landing pages. 
  • Manage the visual merchandising of all marketplace products and brands, influencing the category trading managers to integrate MP products into their VM 
  • Work with the Customer Service team to resolve any customer issues caused by Marketplace products on the website 
  • Support on projects to improve the product enrichment and go live process. 
  • Be engaged and actively proposing opportunities for process improvement, driving efficiency and CX. 

 

Is this you? 

  • We are looking for individuals who embrace diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and are looking for something uniquely different.  
  • Ecommerce professional with previous experience in online retail preferred.  
  • Experience with Big Commerce and Fredhopper or other enterprise ecom platform and merchandising tools preferred. 
  • Experience with Google Analytics. 
  • A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
