Harvey Nichols as a business is currently hugely focused on the online channel and has a strong and extremely ambitious growth plan for their online business in the coming years. To support this growth, we are seeking an Online Executive to join our Product Marketing team to ensure we are optimising the trade of product on-site.
The Online Product Marketing Executive will be focused on our Women’s Accessories & Shoes departments.
The Executive will work closely with the Content, Marketplace, Merchandising, Buying and Production teams to push key products online with a strong commercial focus, and own all online product marketing for these departments. Creating and implementing unique ways to sell key products and brands via category selections and visual merchandising. The role has a strong focus supporting the Ecommerce Manager by being the Online go-to for all Women’s Accessories & Shoes brand launches, promotional campaigns on site and trading.
What you'll be doing:
Fred Hopper champion within the online product marketing team.
PIM champion; oversee categorisation and enrichment of product and responsible for sign off - ensuring all product runs smoothly though the workflow from warehouse to online, flagging concerns and suggesting remedies. Define and create new categories, managing the launch of categories across Women’s Accessories & Shoes.
Visual Merchandising; Work closely with Creative & Buying teams to commercially visually merchandise Accessories & Shoes, including upsells and cross sells, and search optimisation. Be responsible for delivering all Visual Merchandising across all sites (UK, HK and INT) and all devices (Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet) for Acc & Shoes with guidance from Ecommerce Manager.
Hand picking curation; Prioritise and own the hand picking VM of the UK site for Acc & Shoes, adhering to guidelines set out by Ecommerce Manager and refreshing these regularly following.
Owner of Accessories & Shoes product selection and customer journey. As well as with all trade based product email sends and graphic content (CLPs, Top Nav imagery etc.)
First point of contact with editorial/Marketing teams and external SEO agencies to define categories, links and product availability across Womenswear categories.
Coordinate editorial content from the editorial/marketing team and Online Product Marketing Manager to prep headers, CLPS, carousels and homepage graphics where appropriate. As well as making recommendations on editorial stories and product selections, ensuring product is commercially selected.
Collate and send out weekly reporting for your area, focusing on Visual Merchandising testing and conversion, Search, category performance and any UX customer journey insights.
Support the Ecommerce Director and Ecommerce Manager with the rollout of projects from fast paced online roadmap, including requirements gathering, testing, bug reporting and ongoing monitoring/reporting on performance where needed.
A bit about your experience:
Ecommerce professional with previous experience, online retail experience preferred.
Experience with BigCommerce or other Enterprise Ecommerce platform preferred.
Experience with Fredhopper preferable.
Experience with Google Analytics or Content Square.
Experience working in an agile environment using tools such as Jira or similar preferable.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
