We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual to lead a team of photographers specialising in luxury product for e-commerce. They will maintain team targets and ensure accuracy and consistency throughout all photography across the website. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, working to a high standard on all e-commerce including; model sets, still life fashion and table top accessories. They must demonstrate an understanding of luxury retail through a strong portfolio and demonstrated experience in a leadership position.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Monitor and manage photographers’ individual performance/projects
  • Responsible for the team to produce high quality and consistently lit images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent
  • Live Reviews/reshoots of all sets
  • Retouched reviews
  • Regular quality checking of ‘New In’ and contribute to the improvement of images across the site
  • Excellent knowledge of industry standards
  • Accountable for overall photography team targets
  • Responsible for the updating of style guides/technical guides
  • Responsible for leading freelancers during peak periods and ensuring their work is within HN guidelines and timeframes
  • Responsible for all photography equipment in the studio keeping the inventory up to date and organising repairs as necessary
  • Monitor reshoots and feedback to the team accordingly
  • Encourage and brief in testing to ensure HN photography is current and commercial
  • A strong up to date knowledge of brands and trends working with the STL on any special projects and driving change
  • Regular competitive reporting and a thorough understanding of the retail environment we operate in with strong up to date knowledge of competitors

About your experience:

  •  Demonstrable previous experience in a senior photographic role
  • Proven experience with digital cameras and lighting (shooting tethered, Capture One, Canon cameras etc.)
  • High technical proficiency in Photoshop and networked computers
  • Previous experience in a fashion environment, directing models and with editorial experience
  • Capable of providing creative direction within a team
  • Proven experience managing a photography
