We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Marketplace team, for someone who needs to be passionate, knowledgeable, and highly organised. We want an ambitious and energetic individual, who can work under pressure, who can troubleshoot, and problem solve, with excellent stakeholder management skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment .

You will provide clerical and administrative support to the department and Marketplace brands to meet agreed departmental targets. 

You will:

  • To assist the Marketplace Account Manager and handle incoming brand queries.
  • To set up brand profiles in the Mirakl back office and help brands with functional issues including the import of product and offer feeds to ensure a smooth onboarding process compliant of deadlines.
  • To set up consignment brands and product.
  • To liaise with brand customer services about any issues.
  • To monitor and flag any issues with brands marketplace functional performance (e.g. not meeting customer service or delivery timeframes).
  • Analyse and interpret weekly reports to define brand performance including weekly sales, rankings, best sellers.
  • Work with the Marketplace Account Manager, media and marketing team to identify social media and promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain departmental documents including Brand Contract log ensuring that finance are kept aware of any launches or amendments, including ensuring that brand files are kept up to date, flagging in a timely manner when contracts are due to end.
  • Work with Marketplace Account Manager to ensure that all brand contractual information is input and kept accurate in the finance system (SNOW)
  • Keep all marketplace files are up to date with the latest documentation and communication, covering all contractual and legal duties.
  • Prepare all draft and final concession contracts, for new and renewal brands for approval by Marketplace Account Manager.
  • Ensure all termination letters are sent out in a timely manner in relation to the expiry date of the contract.
  • Create meeting notes for brand meetings including detailed sales information and feedback on launches.
  • Work with the Marketplace Account Manager to maintain the department web marketing tracker to ensure brands and internal teams are informed of when and where support has been secured.
  • Build supplier and department relations through regular and effective communication with brands as well as internal contacts in IT, marketing, warehouse and stores.
  • Ensure familiarity with the brands, product ranges and concepts of the department.
  • Check brand product prior and post upload to the website to ensure it complies with HN expectations.
  • To act as an ambassador for Harvey Nichols.
