Liaise with all areas of the business, (display, buying, press, marketing, signage, maintenance, store planning and other visual merchandisers). Following the correct communication channels to ensure clarity and consistency in standards across the store.
To ensure that all departmental guidelines and procedures are adhered to.
To maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising, challenging the use of the product range to give a more creative approach, whilst keeping in accordance with the company’s guidelines to deliver consistency across the store.
To be aware of promotional activities within the store and create relevant POS signage.
To have an in-depth product knowledge within own area and extensive knowledge of all ranges and services across the sales floor and within the Store.
To be involved in merchandising new collections as they are received, liaising with management to establish placement, guidelines and time sales.
Viewing all buying boards to ensure extensive knowledge of own bought collections.
To consider the use of destination spaces, when carrying out floor moves and merchandising throughout the season. Looking at key trends and innovative ways of using product to create interest, whilst maintaining sales, targets and aesthetics.
To coach, develop and supervise the visual merchandising standards of designated staff.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of fixtures and equipment.
To ensure all concessions adhere to store visual merchandising standards and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience required
