Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Junior Sous Chef to join its restaurant in our Bristol store. Our culture is based on inclusivity; we embrace diversity. Whoever you are, Harvey Nichols has a place for you.

As the new Junior Sous Chef, you will work 45 hours a week.

Typical shift patterns include 09.00am – 17.00pm or 18.00pm, 14.00 – 22.00pm, 10.00am – 22.00pm, with normally just 2 lates per week dependent on team requirements.

About the role…

As a Junior Sou Chef, you will be helping prepare food for our customers and make their eating experience with us a memorable 5* experience. You will:

  • Work alongside our great Head Chef preparing and creating great food for our customers
  • Know everything about your recipes to make them look amazing
  • Make sure everything is squeaky clean in your area by maintaining a high standard of hygiene, health and safety
  • Be super-efficient and make sure your mise en place is ready at the right time to make sure you have a great service and our customers get great food quickly
  • Ensure a productive relationship with senior team member
  • Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it
  • Flexibility is a must; hospitality service can’t wait during weekends and evenings!
