Being a Junior Sous Chef within our Restaurant kitchen will be part of the preparation and the presentation of our food to the highest culinary standards. We consider this the most critical part of making dining, fine dining.


What you will be doing:

  • As a Junior Sous Chef you will be working alongside the Sous Chef, assisting in managing day to day running of our kitchen;
  • Liasing with the Head Chef in creating the menu;
  • Assisting in stock control, scheduling, staff issues and any other duties;
  • Preparing fresh produce for our Restaurant while maintaining high standards
  • You will play a key role in guiding and supporting the team to provide food of the highest standards.
  • Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it;
  • To instigate and maintain high morale, motivation and team spirit, recognising outstanding performance and contribution to team objectives. 

As a Junior Sous Chef you will be required to work weekends and evenings.

Skills and experience you need

 

  • At least 2 years junior management position
  • Good knife skills
  • Elementary food hygiene
