As Social Media Manager, we want you to increase sales revenue and traffic driven to harveynichols.com via all social media channels. Working with the Head of Creative to input into the Harvey Nichols social media content and strategy, and delivering to the highest standard. You will oversee the delivery of the Harvey Nichols social media channels. This role will be working across all the Social Media activity for the group ensuring that Harvey Nichols has authority in fashion, beauty, food and lifestyle on social media. The Social Media Manager will also be expected to develop the Harvey Nichols social media and content strategy, as well as taking an active lead in creating and uploading all social media content.

What you will be doing:
Responsible for the day to day management of the Harvey Nichols social media communities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+ and others.
Create and upload all social media content & ensure it is regularly updated on a daily basis.
Generate compelling and engaging social media content and manage a fast-paced and reactive schedule of regular updates.
Be the brand advocate within the community, engaging in dialogues and dealing with customer service enquiries in an appropriate and timely manner.
Work with the Head of Creative to develop the HN social media tone of voice and to create a social media style guide to be applied and adhered to ensuring best practice and a consistent tone of voice.
Manage the creative and budget for social media advertising during key promotional periods.
Develop best practice guidelines with the Head of Creative for social media and act as brand guardian for regional sites.
Set and monitor KPIs for measuring the success of social media channels, analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of new initiatives.
Produce weekly and monthly in-depth analytical reports to be presented back to the team and key stakeholders within the business.
Keep abreast of developments in the social media industry, technology and competitor marketing and make recommendations to the team on how to progress.
Manage the creative and budget for social media advertising during key promotional periods

You will have proven social media background (agency or client side).
You will have proven experience of using content publishing systems, including Hootsuite, Conversocial, and social media monitoring tools.
You will have experience within the retail, luxury and/or fashion sector.
You will have established contacts within the fashion, beauty and food blogging community.
You will have experience developing digital and content strategies across a variety of social platforms.
You will have experience and understanding of customer service.
