JUNIOR APPLICATION ANALYST, CHISWICK AND KNIGHTSBRIDGE
As a Junior Application Analyst, you will be part of the team responsible for the delivery, operation and support of Business Systems within Harvey Nichols. The role requires an exciting team player who relishes responsibility, is proactively technical and has ambitions to succeed in the Retail Digital space. The role involves operating, monitoring and supporting of third party and Harvey Nichols developed systems. The IT team aim to provide a service worthy of a 5* luxury brand which means we are impeccable in delivering our activities with the highest levels of customer service within the agile Retail sector. You will also assist the rest of the team in particular the Application Specialist to develop functional specifications, solutions documents and create the product configurations to enable the optimum usage of any system.
As a Junior Application Analyst, you will look to maximise the use of the product by demonstrating professionalism, skill and expertise that adds long-term value to Harvey Nichols businesses, encouraging strategic solutions that both add to revenue and ensure the highest level of customer service possible. You will have a broad understanding of Retail technologies and the retail environment. More importantly you will have an attitude that puts an excellent result as your first priority.
What you will be doing:
You will check, monitor and resolve any business system issues on a daily basis.
You will provide 2nd & 3rd line support for IT owned systems and applications.
You will provide accurate and timely updates to support tickets, managing issues and problems to resolution.
You will confidently administer day-to-day business issues with third party suppliers.
You will actively assist in the delivery of departmental projects.
You will collate and relay feedback from business as to the usability, performance and perception of business systems and processes. Make recommendations for changes based on this feedback; maintain an understanding of user perceptions of key systems at all times.
You will develop, suggest and maintain changes to operational procedures with a view to improving the efficiency and stability of deployed systems.
You will collate, maintain and share knowledge with effective documentation, communication and collaboration.

You have impeccable Customer service
You have experience of technical hardware and software troubleshooting and problem resolution
You understand ticket management methodologies and processes
You have involvement in delivery of projects within a fast-paced organisation.
You have experience of operational processes and procedures
Certification - ITIL v3 Foundation (desirable)
Knowledge of systems and data (Windows, SQL, XML, HTML)
Prince2/Agile/DSDM qualification (desirable)
