INTERNATIONAL & COMMERCIAL MARKETING MANAGER - CHISWICK/HOME BASED, WEST LONDON 

The International & Commercial Marketing Manager will report into the Head of Press, Marketing & Events. This role is integral to the customer marketing team and the wider business. This role will help to shape the international and commercial marketing strategy and drive the company’s vision. The main responsibilities are to develop and execute the 360-degree international and commercial marketing strategy for the business

Budget to manage: International Marketing Budget, Partner Marketing Budget (e.g. Global Blue, Hylink Media Spend, VISA, Amex etc) supported by the head of department.

What you'll be doing: 

STRATEGY

  • Work with the wider marketing team to define the vision, brand position and strategy for international growth and customer acquisition
  • Define key markets and market specific objectives and marketing plans across APAC, EMEA & NA & CA  - aligning with the roadmap for HN.com
  • Contributing to the overall Marketing & Creative Calendar
  • Develop group-wide framework for commercial partnership marketing across financial partners, airlines and hotels

MARKETING & PR

  • Lead 360-degree marketing campaigns across experiential, digital, influencer, media, PR & commercial to achieve the business objectives for international & commercial growth
  • Research and deliver International Advertising Campaigns, as appropriate
  • Amplify all domestic marketing initiatives through relevant international channels
  • Collaborate with buyers to identify opportunities and to drive sell-through during key international campaigns and calendar dates
  • Create and distribute an International Marketing support pack (both paid and organic) for HN brands

DIGITAL

  • Partner with Online, Digital Marketing & Affiliates to ensure alignment and omni-channel approach to all International Marketing Campaigns
  • Partner with CRM to establish acquisition / retention link for International campaigns and build international customer CRM database
  • Oversee and manage all Chinese Social Media Channels, ensuring alignment with global channels

PARTNERSHIPS

  • Lead group-wide commercial partnerships across, hotels, airlines and payment providers provide bespoke opportunities for key doors
  • Support the head of department in managing commercial & international marketing partnerships; responsible for generating revenue e.g. American Express
  • Generate new revenue streams through broadening the scope of partners at global level
  • Collaborate with teams to optimise media, brand and social media opportunities at a global level
  • Optimise acquisition and marketing opportunities with international doors

MANAGEMENT

  • Manage key marketing support agencies, where applicable, developing KPIs and reporting on monthly activity to key stakeholders
  • Conduct stakeholder briefings on International Marketing for Harvey Nichols Group
  • Set benchmark goals and KPIs for each marketing campaign / partnership 
  • Ensure all campaigns are forecast correctly and delivered within budget
  • Support all Regional Doors on International campaigns and commercial initiatives
  • Monitor International Marketing Budget, Global Blue Budget and Hylink Media Spend and agree monthly and / or quarterly reviews as to how we are tracking versus budget

COMMUNICATION

  • Communicate International & Commercial Strategy with to business stakeholders (Buying, Finance, Marketing, PR, Retail, Online, Senior Management) and cascade through Department Managers and Regional Stores.
  • Report on all International Marketing Campaigns and Partnerships to key stakeholders

 

A bit about your experience: 

  • Previous consumer international marketing experience essential
  • Previous experience working with a global or luxury brand in marketing or communications
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Retail experience is a bonus but not a prerequisite
