HAMPERS AND GIFTING MANAGER, CHISWICK, WEST LONDON

A strategic role within the Food and Beverage team taking responsibility for one of our fastest growing areas, Hampers and Gifting.   Working closely with the Head of Food & Beverage Buying and across all departments such as marketing and online you will define and manage the successful delivery of our Hamper and Gifting offering to our luxury customer.

What you will be doing:

  • You will develop and agree the product selection strategy with the Head of Food and Beverage Buying.
  • You will present strategy and results to the Management Board.
  • You will manage the planned delivery of hampers and gifting proposition towards the business (stores and on-line) in line with product selection strategy.
  • You will review planned margin, cost and retail prices 
  • You will research, prepare and formally present product ranges to the Head of Food and Beverage Buying, taking into account sales history, food and beverage trends, new exclusive brands and space allocation to products and product seasonality and group themes.
  • You will resource, select, and recommend a range of hampers/gifts with agreed buying objectives.
  • You will develop a strong liaison with stores, warehouse and online.
  • You will regularly review each individual market, closely monitoring competitor’s activity and trends within product area.
  • You will liaise with key stakeholders to identify/target and drive sales opportunities/campaigns.
  • You will seek out new Clients/Corporate business opportunities to drive business.
  • You will initiate, plan and recommend ways of improving sales performance, especially with regard to VM, promotions, training and supplier contributions

About your experience

 

  • You have demonstrable experience of building and managing a hampers gifting operation.
  • You are able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of existing and potential suppliers or partners from UK and overseas.
  • You have demonstrable experience of undertaking research into market requirements and trends, supplier and product availability.
  • You have experience of negotiating to achieve both sales and margin.
  • You have experience of managing a team.
