We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team. This role is a fixed term maternity cover for 9 months.
As a Graphic Designer, your role will be to work under the guidance of the Creative Design Manager on the creation of visual assets for the use of the multichannel business, with a focus on print design.
What you will be doing
Designing and art working related material for the press and marketing department covering areas
Creative flair and the ability to lead projects from initial concept to execution will be a fundamental part of this role
To produce innovative, print based solutions that incorporate all of the elements of a great customer experience and encompass the Harvey Nichols brand guidelines
Develop and refine on brand design briefs through brain storming and research, flagging and addressing issues
Own and develop design and layout concepts for all visual media; including graphics and any customer facing print requirements and manage issues, flagging problems where necessary
Be aware of emerging fashion trends and be adept at interpreting those into cutting-edge creative design
Working in collaboration with other disciplines, such as photographers, copywriters, printers and other designers
Skills and experience you need
You will have a previous experience f working across a range of multi-media design projects
You will have a proven experience working with all types of print materials
You will have a strong knowledge of Abode creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
You will have basic illustration skills
You will have excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills
You are a team player
You are self-motivated
You are deadline driven and able to multi-task
