FINANCIAL ANALYST - TREASURY - CHISWICK/HOME BASED, WEST LONDON

To manage the cash flow forecasting (daily, monthly and longer term), banking and FX. Reporting monthly balance sheet and cash flow, assist in the annual budgets and forecast and larger business cases.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Manage the monthly rolling cash flow forecast and understand business funding requirements
  • Manage the daily cash flow forecasting with the treasury accounting, monitor bank balances and short term receipts and payment forecasts
  • Produce the monthly cash flow and balance sheet for management pack, reviewing variances against budget and last year and providing explanations
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, with specific responsibility for cash flow budgets but also involvement in P&L and capex forecasting
  • Maintain the hedging strategy with the finance director and banking relationships
  • Prepare small and larger scale business appraisals for new opportunities
  • Assist with the preparation and consolidation of monthly results for the group, including commentary on performance
  • Effective business partnering with key business areas to identify areas of opportunities and review of specific cost areas
  • Undertake analytical work, business appraisals and other finance support as requested
  • Assist in the year-end process including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and of information for external auditors
  • Plan and organise any other ad hoc projects as requested by the finance manager

About your experience: 

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (2+ years)
  • Strong PC skills, particularly Excel
  • Financial modelling skills (use of vlookups, index match, macros etc)
