We are seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and to support the team across a range of business and finance areas.
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible to assist in the preparation of the monthly management pack, co-ordinate annual budgets and forecasts, provide finance support to key stakeholders in the business and to undertake projects as directed by the Financial Controller and Finance Manager.
What you will be doing
Responsible for co-ordinating the preparation and consolidation of monthly results for the Group, showing performance by store and comparisons against budget and last year
Assist in the preparation of the monthly management pack, including in-depth analysis of monthly results and insightful commentary, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to
Work closely with the General Managers, Cost Controllers and other business functions to provide financial analysis and reporting
Assist in the year-end process and preparation of information for external auditors
Plan and organise any other ad hoc projects as requested by the financial controller
Skills and experience you need
You are qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
You have at least 2 years PQE
You have advanced in Excel
You have strong written, communication and analytical skills
You have previous experience in retail sector
You are a confident communicator, both written and verbal
You have an excellent work ethic and ability to multitask
You have an ability to work under pressure and time constraints
You are a positive and friendly person
You have a can-do attitude
