FARFETCH MANAGER 

This role will own the relationship between Farfetch and Harvey Nichols to ensure all targets are reached with a clear strategy for future planning.

The candidate ideally coming from a multi-channel background, will work with all internal business areas including Fashion Buying and Merchandising (B&M), Finance, Retail operations, Warehousing, Logistics & IT - also strengthening the external relationship with Farfetch.

Working closely with Head of Merchandising to analyse all aspects of the Farfetch operation, providing clear & concise information with targets to improve sales, margin & stock availability for Farfetch & the wider business. To provide visibility & business understanding of all the metrics which influence performance, sales & margin. Providing clear recommendations for best practice & improvement of terms.

What you'll be doing: 

Stock Management & Availability

  • Management of inventory availability for Farfetch
  • Management of Farfetch Analyst
  • Responsible for growth of Farfetch stock availability
  • Weekly / monthly performance analysis, highlighting & actioning trading suggestions
  • Regular contact with Farfetch Operations
  • Responsible for Farfetch OTB, managing requirements with the Buying Teams
  • Review with B&M stock location ensuring stock is maintained in the best location for availability for the business
  • Constant structured contact with the B&M teams, providing insight to the teams of performance & key ongoing actions & targets.
  • Management of the stock interaction between HN & Farfetch, providing support & guidance to the team throughout the process of onboarding stock.

Commercial Finance

  • P&L Management, monthly review with Finance, with recommendations of actions
  • Ongoing investigation of performance & review of KPI’s
  • Evidence of reduction of costs / charges
  • Set targets for performance improvement
  • Quarterly detailed reviews with Finance to be presented with targeted improvement actions

Farfetch

A high level of interaction with the various Farfetch external teams, with constant communication with the Farfetch account manager.

  • Weekly calls to discuss performance & improve ways of working
  • Regular performance reviews agreeing actions for business improvement
  • Ownership of aligned strategy with Farfetch & delivery of agreed targets.
  • To become thoroughly proficient in Storm & Farfetch portals, to then give guidance to the teams for best actions.

About your experience:

  • Previous experience in multi-channel / merchandising / commercial finance
  • Previous exposure to managing a P&L
  • Good numerical skills
  • Strong relationship management (internal/external)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Retail experience would be advantageous
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Power Point presentation creation skills
