Job Purpose 

Support the management team by planning and organising the operation procedures of the display department for both internal and external projects.

Build strong working relationships with other departments within the company in order to facilitate projects   
across the store.

Liaise and assist ADM with external communication/planning to the department including contractors, suppliers and other areas of business. Foresee any necessities within the department to produce and organise forward planning.

Ensure all areas of the department link together by communicating efficiently on how projects affect workload and team availability.

Support with communication on progress reports (both verbal and written) to Visual Manager ensuring the correct channels are followed.

Assist in the management of individual team performances when accessing operational link to aspects of role.

To manage numerous tasks at one time displaying strong organisation skills and forward thinking.
Able to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment and adapt well to changes.
Follow upon departmental workload alongside ADM Team Leader.
Maintain support to ADM Team Leader smooth running of department workload/team.
Identify training requirements for team across all processes/procedures.
Financial responsibility of ordering for the department including cash advances.
Identifying opportunities for department development/objectives.
Leasing with external contractor’s suppliers. 
Able to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment adapting well to change.
Able to motivate and instigate high morale within the team.

Skills required

Technical:
To have exceptional standards and all-round knowledge of display related procedures with extensive organisational and communication abilities whilst managing own work alongside the department’s schedule. Strong administrative skills – PC literate (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Leadership:
To be able to train, give direction and guidance to others in the Display/Signage team,

Attitude:
Confidently present knowledge of the department and products, to be flexible and helpful to the department’s needs, have the ability to use initiative and to be proactive.
