We are seeking a Deputy Fashion Editor who will be part of the Editorial and Content team at Harvey Nichols. This role is a fixed term maternity cover for 6 months.
Our ambition is to deliver leading Fashion, Beauty and Food content to our customer segments and the industry. Your role will be to work under the guidance of the Fashion Editor to support the Editorial team create the assets for fashion, beauty and food content and marketing through photoshoot and content production.
What you will be doing
Work with the Fashion Editor developing shoot concepts particularly for womenswear, but also menswear, beauty, food and hospitality and other marketing incentives that require a creative identity
Manage the beginning to end production of selected photoshoots
Present ideas eloquently through visual presentations that can be shared to colleagues internally and creative partners externally
Source, approach, brief and negotiate with the approved photography and creative teams (Grooming, Location, Set Design, Model etc)
Responsible for organising the running order of the shoot day with the photography team and Creative Design Manager and Fashion Editor
Skills and experience you need
You will have experience in photoshoot production
You will have experience within a Fashion Editorial team
You will a knowledge of luxury fashion brands and current trends
You will have strong attention to detail
You have a Flair for fashion and creative outlook
You are a proactive individual demonstrating initiative and imagination
You are a problem-solver who is methodical, detail oriented and organized
You have a “can do it” attitude
